Group meeting

Today we tried to film for a second time in our chosen location although there was a problem as it was raining, this made it difficult for us to shoot as we wanted to do it outside. We decided to start some of our shooting inside in a plain location even though it wasn't our ideal location, this was challenging as we didn't want to work with this as it wasn't our planned idea.
We were able to shoot a range of shots from close ups to long shots, all the footage we collected was very useful although the background was not ideal for our shooting. We are hoping to shoot in our chosen location next time.

Group meeting

Today was our first day of shooting, we met up with our cast and talked them through our location, we showed them around the outside area and let them know what we they had to do. We were able to shoot a couple of frames as the weather was nice outside.

We showed our cast around our location and explained to them
were they needed to be positioned for each shot. The location worked well.

Group meeting

Today we had a meeting with our cast for our music video, we showed them our storyboard and told them what we were going to being doing in our video, we explained the shots used and briefed them on what they needed to do where and when as well as what to wear.
They gave us some useful feedback which is written below:

"We really liked your concept for your music video as it seems to be unusual and interesting, we liked the shots used and especially liked shot number 3 and 7 on your storyboard as it shows an interesting view of person, the variety in camera shots and some tilted angles really makes the video seems quirky like a piece of modern art. I think the video will be a huge success from the chosen location and the quality of shots and hopefully be seen as visually pleasing."

This comment from the cast was really reassuring for us as a group as we now feel ready and confident to start filming.

Group Discussion

Todays lesson we looked at existing album covers and digiacks for artists that were similar to our chosen artist, in order for us to generate ideas for our own album covers and digipacks. We also spoke again about our filming which was scheduled this week and made a plan for the week:
